The Reserve Series is the ultimate barrel selection of Whalehaven that is an expression of the winemaker’s expertise in meticulously tasting and evaluating each barrel, to identify those that offer stand- out aromas, tastes, and mouthfeel, ensuring those barrels merit separation and elevation.
This Chardonnay presents a more linear and mineral profile on the palate, showcasing a delightful flinty and limestone character.
It boasts a sturdy backbone of minerality, with notes of chalk, honeysuckle blossom, Granny Smith apple, lemon grass, crushed river rocks, and a subtle mineralogy reminiscent of a sea breeze.
