The Terroir Series Sandstone Strata Chardonnay has delicate scents of wild jasmine, alpine flowers and chalk dusted with spice which arouse the nose, while white peach, apple, and tinned pears add some intrigue. A zesty acidity greets the palate, giving clean lines and focus augmented by a grippy, steely-edged texture. On top are juicy tangerines, apple puree, orange travel sweets and lemon fridge cheesecake.

The Reserve Seascape Chardonnay:  The initial aromas are buttered melba toast, peat, and spice but slowly reveal apricot, peach and yellow apple with a sea spray top note. There is a light, almost ethereal nature to it. The palate shows riper stone fruit mingled with crushed almonds, all threaded with a spirited acidity. The mid-palate is clean and precise, with a subtle jasmine florality that extends to the long finish.
